Ty Jäger is the Producer and Technical Director for The Gauge Podcast based in Fort Worth, Texas, and a reporter for Pounding The Rock covering the San Antonio Spurs. In addition, Ty also writes for FWRDAxis as an entertainment writer. On the side, Ty hosts his own podcast, At The Line, which also covers the Spurs as well as live streams covering big events such as the NBA Draft.

Ty has had a passion for multimedia production since middle school, first joining the school broadcast and branching out from there in high school. This included radio where he got his start in the industry in 2017 working for CBS Radio as a board operator & producer. Soon, Ty would move over to iHeartMedia in 2018 in the same role.

During this period, Ty would start his own podcast called At The Line which covered the San Antonio Spurs from a fan perspective. This podcast would kickstart his career in becoming a sports reporter & writer as he would join as a contributor for News 4 San Antonio’s Spurs Zone. During his time with News 4, Ty covered the San Antonio and Austin Spurs basketball teams, interviewing players and coaches throughout the organization. Ty would then join Pounding the Rock in 2021 as a writer & social media contributor.

Currently, Ty resides in North Richland Hills, Texas as he continues to write for FWRDAxis & Pounding the Rock alongside his producer role for The Gauge Podcast. In addition, he is in charge of marketing for Complete Trailers, a multi-million dollar trailer dealership.
